Virat Kohli Gave A Brilliant Reply When Asked About Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s Form: Indian bowler Bhuvenshwar Kumar is one of the best bowlers in the world. However, the cricketer has been going through a tough phase.

He recently endured a rough time at the just concluded 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League, where he managed just 3 wickets off the 6 games he played at an economy rate of 7.97, which was his worst in a season. However, the Indian skipper has brushed off all the concerns regarding Bhuvi’s form.

Ahead of the much-awaited T20 World Cup 2021, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli, on Sunday, backed Bhuvneshwar Kumar and silenced his critics by saying that his experience and accuracy is going to be priceless for team India. During the captain’s call organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC) ahead of the Men’s T20 World Cup, Virat Kohli was asked whether Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s form a matter of concern for the team blue. Responding to which, Kohli said: “No, not at all [concerned],”

He added:

“His (Bhuvneshwar Kumar) economy rate continued to be top-notch in the IPL, he has always known for this, and his experience comes to the fore,”

“I think his experience and accuracy have always been priceless for the team. He is back to full fitness which augers really well for our team. I am sure he will get assistance with the new ball,”

Further, Virat also talked about the performance of the Indian cricket team in the past 2 T20 World Cups and expressed how it has been frustrating for the team. He said:

It was quite frustrating to go out the way we did in the 2016 t20 World Cup. But West Indies was the best team in the tournament, playing the best cricket as a team and I felt they thoroughly deserve to win that tournament.”

He added:

“We had a heartbreak against Sri Lanka in the 2014 t20 World Cup finals as well, that tells us as far as our T20 cricket is concerned, we have always had a strong side,”

Meanwhile, team India will kickstart their campaign in T20 World Cup 2021 with a high-voltage clash against arch-rivals Pakistan, which will take place on 24th October in Dubai.
