It was an all-important clash for Mumbai Indians against Gujarat Titans and Surya lived up to the expectations of the fans and made the night memorable in every possible way.
Suryakumar Yadav came out to bat in the 7th over after GT’s star Rashid Khan dismissed Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan in the same over to put MI in a spot of bother. But from thereon, SKY took the GT bowlers to the cleaners and played one of the best knocks of his IPL career to guide his team to a record fifth 200-plus total in the ongoing competition.
Surya was in ominous form as he smashed the GT bowlers to all the corners of the ground. The star batter finished with a stellar knock of 103 runs in just 49 balls. His stunning knock was laced with 11 boundaries and six maximums. SKY reached the triple-figure mark with a six on the final delivery of the innings. All thanks to his stunning knock, Mumbai Indians put up a massive total of 218/5 against the defending champions.

Meanwhile, Surya has been receiving praise from all the corners for his incredible work with the bat. From cricketers and experts to fans, everyone is left in awe of the star batter.
