As per a report by Duff & Phelps Brand Value Report, in 2020, the Indian skipper had a brand value of $237.7 million. Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar retained his second position with his brand value rising to $118.9 million.




Sitting in the third position is Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, with a value of $102.9 million, followed by Shah Rukh Khan in the fourth position with a $51.1 million brand value. Ranveer’s wife and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone finished as the fifth most valued celeb with USD 50.4 million.

For the unversed, the survey conducted by Duff & Phelps is based on the brand value of a celebrity from their product endorsement portfolio and relative social media presence. The study also examined the impact of the pandemic on both brand value rankings and also the celebrity endorsement space.

Meanwhile, talking about the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli who was recently blessed with a baby girl on January 11, 2021 is back to his national duty after paternity leave. The cricketer is currently leading team India in the ongoing four-match Test series against England.
