The Indian cricket fans received a huge blow after Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli was ruled out of the ongoing second Test match against South Africa at The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. In his absence, KL Rahul has been given the responsiblity to lead the Indian side for the ongoing series.
At the toss, KL Rahul revealed that Virat Kohli is having an upper back spasm and that is the reason behind him missing the match. In Virat’s absence, Hanuma Vihari has been given an opportunity to feature in the playing XI.
“Virat is having an upper back spasm. Every Indian player dreams to captain his country. Really looking forward to this. We will look to put some runs on the board and put the opposition under pressure. Hanuma Vihari comes in for Virat. No other change,” Rahul said at the toss.
Virat’s absence from the game has come out as a big shock to everyone as he looked in fine touch with the willow in the first Test match. Virat Kohli added 35 runs to the team’s account in the first innings. However, he couldn’t contribute much in the second innings of the game.
Social media was buzzing with reactions from the fans on Virat Kohli’s absence from the Indian squad for the second Test match. Meanwhile, amidst all the memes and jokes, an image has been circulating on social media, where a man who looks like a doppelganger of Virat Kohli can be seen selling corns on the streetside. The man in the picture is wearing a black cap on his head and can be seen wearing a black and red sweater.

Virat shared pictures, trained at nets. No way he has a fitness issue. No mention of it in yesterday’s PC. #Kohli

Was backing the same winning XI of Centurion to do the job in #Wanderers on unless the wicket is like it was in 2018. However, #Kohli missing the Test is a blow #SAvsIND #INDvsSA #CricketTwitter pic.twitter.com/Hplakawlla
