If there is one player who loves to play every single game for the country, it is Virat Kohli. The Indian batsman has a superb attitude towards the game and is always ready to put on his pads and head out to bat.

So when someone asked him if he would not be playing the ODI series, Virat Kohli brushed aside the rumour.

A lot of news houses stated that the Indian captain was feeling overworked after playing continuously for so many years and he was probably considering taking a rest. In the last one year, India had played 43 matches from which Kohli appeared for 42 of them. Kohli said that he would play and he did not know where this rumour popped out of.

Virat Kohli added that the Indian team would be selected on August 13th and the team management and selectors are going to sit down and have plans in mind. As a captain, he said he would be in the thick of things.

Seniors rested:

It was suggested by many that Ashwin and Jadeja might be rested along with Mohammad Shami but it still remains to be seen. The spin duo bowled a total of 108 overs each in the Test series so might need some time off.

The two of them have had a successful time in the field, picking up five wicket hauls each in the two matches that were played and scoring half centuries at the same time. The two also are ranked number one and three in the international bowling and all-rounder charts for tests.

So, this is a great news for Indian cricket fans that they will get to their captain walk out in the middle and lead this team, like he always does. Also, it will be a great spectacle for cricket fans around the world to see Virat Kohli bat in his favourite format i.e ODI cricket.
