There’s no denying to the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the biggest sports personality in the world. His contribution to the game of soccer is huge and can’t be put into words. He is the greatest of all times.

Ronaldo was a stalwart figure for Real Madrid until last year when he decided to play for Juventus. He is a colossal figure and is admired around the world.  He has fans across the world, who look up to him as their inspiration.

Over the time period, there has been a debate among the fans for so long that who among Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi is the best in the football field. This debate has always divided the fans of football into two sides.

However, our Indian skipper was quick to pick-up his side and was clear cut in saying that for him Cristiano stands out ‘above everyone else’. Virat Kohli, who himself is touted to be one of the most dedicated persons in the cricket world loves the commitment Ronaldo shows towards his work. Praising Ronaldo, he said:

“For me, Cristiano is above everyone else. His commitment and work ethic is unmatched. He wants it that bad — you can see it every game.”

He added:

“In my opinion, he (Ronaldo) has taken on more challenges and succeeded at all of them. He’s the most complete player. I have seen and his work ethic, as I mentioned, is unmatched. He inspires people. I don’t think many people do that. He’s also a leader and I love that. Absolutely love it. He has amazing belief too.”

Virat Kohli also praised French footballer Kylian Mbappe and said that he is going to take over as the best footballer in the coming times. He said:

“Mbappe stands out for me. His sprint in the 2018 World Cup against Argentina is hard to forget. He’s a beast and he will definitely be at the top of the pile for me. (He is) Absolutely a top-class player,”

Talking about Virat Kohli, he is all set to lead the Indian team in the West Indies for a full-fledged tour consisting of three-match T20I, three-match ODI, and a two-match Test series.
