The Indian cricket fans went berserk after the Indian skipper Virat Kohli made a stunning comeback last night during the 2nd T20I match against England. Virat found his form back and scored an unbeaten 73 runs to help team India to level the ongoing 5=match T20I series.

During the game, Virat walked into bat in a tricky situation as team India had just lost the wicket of KL Rahul for a six-ball duck, in the first over itself. However, Virat and Ishan Kishan joined hands and turned the tables for India.

Virat walked out to bat with all-guns-blazing after team India had already lost KL Rahul at 0/1. He joined hands with Ishan Kishan for a 94-run stand before getting to the landmark with a boundary. He remained unbeaten till the last ball and scored 73 runs, where he smashed 5 fours and 3 sixes, including the winning sixer.

After the match, during the post-match presentation, the Indian skipper revealed that before the match he had a very special conversation with former South African skipper and his great friend AB de Villiers and his advice worked wonders for him.

Kohli also mentioned how his wife Anushka Sharma and the team management helped him to stay motivated when things weren’t going to plan. He said:

I had to shift the focus back to the basics of the game and I always take pride in doing the job for the team. Just kept my eyes on the ball and my wife is here and she keeps telling me a lot of things of what I need to do. We have a great management that keeps us in the right space,”

He added:

And also I had a special chat with ABD (AB de Villiers) before the start of the game and he just told me to watch the ball. That’s exactly what I did,”
