Recently, Virat Kohli opened up about bout his love for chasing and expressed how he used to dream about winning matches even during his childhood.

Well, in a candid chat with Bangladesh star cricketer Tamim Iqbal, revealed how the opposition’s approach to sledge him has always worked wonders for him. Saying so, he trolled Mushfiqur Rahim for sledging him from behind the stumps. He revealed:
“Sometimes someone like Mushfiqur says something behind the stumps and I get motivated. You need to have self-confidence. When I was small I would watch matches and if India would lose, I would sleep with the thought that I could have won the match for the country,”

He further expressed how he considers winning matches for the nation as an opportunity and not as a situation of pressure. He revealed:
“Chasing is a situation in which you know how much to score and how to score the runs. There isn’t a more clear situation than this. I don’t feel any pressure (while chasing), I see it as an opportunity to remain not out and see the team win,”
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli was all set to play for his IPL franchise, Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League, which has now been delayed because of the Coronavirus pandemic, that has brought the human lives around the world to a halt. As the condition is worsening, it remains to be seen as to when the Indian skipper will be seen in a live match again.
