Indian cricket fans were waiting for Virat Kohli’s statement after MS Dhoni announced his decision to step down as India’s ODI and T20 captain. Virat Kohli, who is going to takeover the captaincy in limited-overs cricket now, took to Twitter and tweeted a heart touching message for his “captain”.

Virat Kohli on Friday took to Twitter to express his feelings about MS Dhoni. Virat Kohli has played all along in the limited-overs format since making his debut back in 2008.

Virat Kohli has time and again said that he has a lot of respect for MS Dhoni and Dhoni’s has played a big role in his career. Dhoni was instrumental in pushing Virat Kohli up to the the number 3 spot in ODI cricket.
