India went about making 3 changes in the playing XI for the Centurion test. KL Rahul replaced Shikhar Dhawan and Parthiv Patel got the gloves ahead of Wriddhiman Saha. These two changes were quite expected and surprised no one but what made Indian cricket fans very disappointed was the exclusion of Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Virender Sehwag Slams Kohli

The cricket fraternity too showed disappointment and anger on the decision of Bhuvneshwar Kumar being dropped. Virender Sehwag was one of those who took to slamming Virat Kohli animatedly after Bhuvneshwar Kumar got dropped from the playing XI.

Here is what Sehwag Said

“Having hurt Bhuvi’s confidence, Virat Kohli should drop himself if he fails”

The former Indian opener was very disappointed by Virat’s decision and he fails that the exclusion of Bhuvneshwar Kumar has hurt Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s confidence badly. Sehwag further added that now if Virat Kohli fails then he should drop himself from the third test.

Virender Sehwag has always been swashbuckling in his attitude. He does not keep things inside and lets out whatever he feels on the inside. This coming from Virender Sehwag who has always been on Kohli’s side is a big statement and shows how animated he got at the sight of Bhuvneshwar Kumar not making it to the playing XI.

Virender Sehwag also added that Bhuvi had performed well at Cape Town and he should not have been excluded. Sehwag feels that keeping Bhuvneshwar out was not justified and Ishant Sharma could have played at someone else’s cost.
