After losing the first T20I match to Bangladesh, the Indian cricket team came back valiantly at Rajkot to maintain the balance in the ongoing three-match series against the visitors.

Rohit Sharma, the Indian opener came out with blazing guns on a mission to take his team on the victory side. Chasing a target of 154 runs, Rohit Sharma came out and took Bangladesh’s bowlers to the cleaners.

Playing a powerful knock of 85 runs off 43 balls, he smashed 6 fours and 6 sixes. Along with his co-partner Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma added 118 runs for the opening wicket and both of them smashed the Bangladeshi bowlers to all the corners of the ground.

This was Rohit’s 100th T20I and the way he shellacked the sixes as he did, there’s no denying the fact that he made his 100th T20I game a memorable one. His incredible performance prompted the likes of former Indian opener Virender Sehwag to say that Rohit can do things that even Indian skipper Virat can’t.

Pouring in praises for Hitman Sharma, Virender Sehwag said:

“Hitting 3-4 sixes in a single over or scoring 80-90 runs in 45 balls is an art that I haven’t even seen Kohli pull off as regularly as Rohit.”

Furthermore, Sehwag said that Rohit Sharma has become the kind of player Sachin Tendulkar used to be. He further asserted that certain things that he (Rohit) can do, no one else in the present times can.

Sehwag also went down the memory lane and revealed what Sachin used to say to his teammates. He said:

“Sachin used to tell others if I can do something on the field, why can’t you? But he never understood that there are only one God and the sort of things God can do, no one else can,”
