Fans got to see the Indian skipper bouncing back into the form after he hit a breathtaking half-century in the ongoing third T20I against England on Tuesday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Indian skipper Virat Kohli walked into bat with the Indian cricket team in trouble and took the game by storm.
Before the game kickstarted, Virat lost the toss and the team was asked to bat first. Team India had the worst possible start after they lost early wickets. However, Virat Kohli walked in with all-guns-blazing and brought momentum back to the game.
Virat remained unbeaten till the last ball of India’s innings as he played a captain’s knock by scoring 77 runs off 46 balls to help team India reach a total of 156 for six in 20 overs. Virat’s powerful shot was laced by 8 fours and 4 sixes.
During his knock, Virat was mesmerized everyone as he played some exotic shots and smashed the England bowlers all around the ground. Kohli, who was at the receiving end of criticism because of his form for a long time now, scored his second consecutive fifty. Earlier on 2nd T20I against England, the Indian skipper Virat found his form back and scored an unbeaten 73 runs, smashing 5 fours and 3 sixes, including the winning sixer.
Meanwhile, fans on social media went berserk after Virat Kohli’s powerful performance in the 3rd T20I. From cricketers, celebrities to fans, everyone took to their social media and hailed the brilliance of the run-machine.

Innings like this one are why I rate Kohli as the absolute best. He scores runs when it is easy going, of course, but he also churns out the runs when everyone else finds it tough. Greatest white ball player of all time.
