Wasim Jaffer Gave A Hilarious Reply To Queensland’s Minister: Cricket has taken a backseat after a controversy interrupted in the ongoing India vs Australia Test series in the New Year. Did Rohit Sharma and 4 others breach the protocols? Will they be penalized if they did? What if India decides to not go to Brisbane for the fourth Test? – well, there have been a lot of speculations and questions going on ever since the controversy interrupted.
Following the controversy, Queensland’s Health Shadow Minister Ros Bates was asked about the reports suggesting team India’s reluctance to travel to Brisbane for the fourth test. She said:
“If the Indians don’t want to play by the rules, don’t come,”
Ros Bates’ sentiments were echoed by Queensland’s Shadow Sports Minister, Tim Mander, who made it clear that there is no room for ignoring the protocols and that every individual will have to go through the same rules. Mander said:
“If the Indian cricket team wants to spit the dummy and disregard quarantine guidelines in Brisbane for the fourth Test, then they shouldn’t come. The same rules must apply for everyone. Simple,”
Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer added spice by giving an epic reply to the Queensland Minister, who said that team India better not come to Brisbane if they are not willing to abide by the COVID-19 rules.
Wasim Jaffer took to his Twitter and shared a hilarious meme, that has left everyone in splits. Sharing the meme, Jaffer wrote: “Aus minister: “Play by our rules or don’t come”. Indian team with Border-Gavaskar trophy in the bag,”
