Decoding Wasim Jaffer’s Tweet:

Jaffer has selected Rohit Sharma as the opener by using Hrithik Roshan’s debut movie’s picture, where he played the character named ‘Rohit’. In Mayank Agarwal’s absence, Jaffer has picked KL Rahul as the opener and for this, he has used Shahrukh Khan’s Dil Toh Pagal Hai’s image.

Further, he used the picture of Cavit Çetin Güner, the actor from the Turkish TV Series Erutrul Ghazi, who looks a lot like the Indian skipper Virat Kohli. He then funnily used the picture of Indian head coach Ravi Shastri’s playing picture to hint that the Indian star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja should play in the team. He also picked Ajinkya Rahane and for this, he used the picture of John Abraham from the movie Welcome back, where he played the role of ‘Ajju bhai’.

Apart from this, Ranveer Singh’s khilji look in Padmaavat was also part of Jaffer’s tweet as he denoted the veteran pace bowler Ishant Sharma. He then picked Ravi Ashwin as well along with two other pacers in Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah to complete his playing XI.
