The legendary Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid is the most respected cricketer in the world. He is currently on the tour of Sri Lanka with the Indian cricket team for the ongoing limited-overs series. Dravid is getting extensively praised for India’s performance on the tour of Sri Lanka so far.
Dravid has kickstarted his career as the coach of the Indian team with a bang as he guided India to a victory in the 3-match ODI series, with the Indian team taking an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series.
After team India thrashed Sri Lanka in the 2nd ODI, Rahul Dravid gave a stirring speech to the players in the dressing room, with each and every player listening to the coach with the utmost attention. The video of Dravid’s speech was shared by the official social media handles of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and it soon went viral.
Fans on social media were quick to notice how attentive the players were while Dravid was speaking. Among many, former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer, who is very active on social media, also reacted to the epic moment.
Wasim Jaffer, who is famous for his hilarious sense of humor and funny tweets, once again stole all the attention with his hilarious meme. In his tweet, Wasim shared a meme from the famous Bollywood movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, featuring Amrish Puri and Farida Jalal. Sharing the meme, Jaffer wrote:

Meanwhile, talking about the aforementioned speech, in a video posted on BCCI.tv, Dravid said:
“Obviously we finished on the right side of the result, which is incredible and fantastic but even if we didn’t finish on the right side of the result, it is the fight all the way through was absolutely brilliant, so well done to all of you,”
He added:
“We said they were going to respond, we knew we had to respect the opposition. The opposition was going to respond, they’re also an international team. They responded, and we responded back like a champion team. With our back to the wall, we found a way to break them. So really well done to all of you. Fantastic job,”
