Recently, Jaffer was at it again as he trolled Michael Vaughan for taking a u-turn on his statement after watching India’s performances in the warm-up matches. Well, earlier this week, the former England skipper had expressed his surprise about how the Indian cricket team was being tagged as the favorites for winning the T20 World Cup. He had said:

“England for me are the favourites. I don’t know how India get the ‘favourites’ tag in T20 cricket. I just think they’ve been a long way off in the last few tournaments.”

He added:

“West Indies and Pakistan will be threats. I wouldn’t write off Pakistan either. New Zealand have high-class players and you know they will come up with strategies to win games,”

However, now after watching the Indian side defeating England by 7 wickets in their 1st warm-up match and Australia by 8 wickets in the second warm-up match, former England skipper has taken a full u-turn on his above statement.

Impressed with the performance of team India, Vaughan took to his social media and expressed how he now feels that the Men in Blue may be the hot favorites to win the high-voltage tournament. He wrote:

The way India are playing the warm-up games suggests they may be now Hot favourites to Win the #T20WorldCup.”
