Wasim Jaffer Wrote A Heart touching Tweet After Mohammed Siraj Got Emotional During National Anthem: Indian pacer, Mohammed Siraj was overwhelmed when the national anthem was played before the start of the third Test match against Australia in Sydney. On Day1 of the Third Test match, Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj showed how much playing for his country really meant for him as he broke while the national anthem of India was being played.

After making a memorable debut in the longest format of the game for India in Melbourne, Mohammed Siraj arrived in Sydney hoping to continue the same level of performance. He stood in the heart of the stadium shoulder-to-shoulder with his teammates as they together sang the national anthem in the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, Siraj broke down

While singing the national anthem tears started rolling down his cheeks which Siraj casually wiped away. The video of the same was shared by the official Twitter handle of Cricket Australia. Everyone is aware of how much being part of India’s Test squad has always meant a lot to the 26-year-old, and this viral video is a big indication of it.

Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer took to his Twitter and penned down a heart-touching tweet. In his tweet, he quoted MS Dhoni’s inspiring words and expressed that there can be no better motivation than playing for his country. Wasim Jaffer wrote:

‘Even if there’s little or no crowd to cheer you on, no better motivation than playing for India. As a legend once said “You don’t play for the crowd, you play for the country.”‘
