It was a comical fielding error from Agha Salman that left Nawaz in pain and wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan in shock.
During South Africa’s innings, Temba Bavuma tapped a ball from Nawaz to mid-on and the two batters set off for a single. Mohammad Rizwan shouted from his spot “Maar de Maar de”. Agha Salman came charging in from mid-on and fired in a throw.
However, the throw from Agha Salman was far away from the stumps and instead got fired at Nawaz who had moved away from the stumps. Nawaz tried to stop the ball with his hands, and it hurt him painfully. Mohammad Rizwan was left shocked and stunned and stared at Agha Salman for his absolutely poor throw.
