The IPL 2024 fever is high on Glenn Maxwell as the Australian superstar all-rounder had some cheeky fun with his RCB teammates Virat Kohli, Mohammed Siraj, and Faf du Plessis during a photo shoot for the franchise’s new jersey.

Recently, at the RCB Unbox event ahead of the IPL 2024, RCB launched their new jersey which includes a heavy blue colour on the upper half of the t-shirt.

The few biggest RCB players – Maxwell, Kohli, Siraj, and Faf – engaged in fun moments during the photo shoot of the green variant of the franchise’s jersey.

When all the players were asked to turn around so that their pics from behind can be captured by photographers in front, Glenn Maxwell entertained his teammates by shaking his hips in a funny manner. Siraj and du Plessis were the first ones to notice Glenn Maxwell’s hilarious antics before Virat Kohli too observed it. Kohli burst into a big laugh at Maxwell shaking his hips.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has said that he is “pretty happy and excited to be back” on the field, playing cricket and for RCB.

Kohli had been on a long break in London to attend the birth of his child, whom he has named Akaay. He missed an entire Test series – at home against England – for the first time in his career. Now, though, rested and refreshed the 35-year-old would be hoping to take RCB to its first IPL title, just after the RCB women clinched the WPL trophy recently under Smriti Mandhana.

“It’s really good to be back, firstly playing cricket and just starting off the IPL,” Kohli told RCB TV. “It’s always exciting to come back to Bangalore for the start of the IPL season. So, similar emotions, similar feelings and I haven’t been off the media radar.

“I have been into the normalcy, you can say, for two months. So, yeah, I am pretty happy and excited to be back and I hope all the fans are excited and happy as well.”

CSK and RCB will kick off the IPL 2024 on March 22 at Chepauk.
