Mushfiqur Rahim hilariously trolled Angelo Mathews with a funny celebration with his helmet following Bangladesh’s ODI series win over Sri Lanka.

New chapters keep getting added to epic Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh cricket rivalry as the players continue to go back and forth with each other, whether in the game or after it.

A saga that had started with the Naagin dance in 2018 now gets new mentions of a watch and time and clock and helmet.

Notorious for his celebrations, Mushfiqur Rahim trolled Mathews by showing a helmet with an untied strap on it. Bangladesh won the series-deciding ODI in Chattogram on Monday, defeating the Lankans by four wickets in an exciting game.

While receiving the winner’s trophy, Mushfiqur Rahim funnily brought on a helmet and looked sideways, showing his acting skills. This was not a one-off event of this tour. In fact, this was in reply to Sri Lanka’s gesture after winning the T20I series.

Sri Lanka won the T20I series and while posing with the trophy, the Lankan players pointed to their wrists to imaginary watches, trolling Shakib Al Hasan for the famous drama about Angelo Mathews’ timeout during the World Cup last year in India.

During World Cup – Mathews was timed out vs Bangladesh due to helmet issue.

After the T20I series – Sri Lanka celebrated the win with a timed-out move.

Now after the ODI series – Mushfiqur bought his helmet to celebrate the win.

There is a two-match Test series coming up between these two teams, and fans are eagerly waiting to see what more entertainment will the players provide them with.

Speaking after the series win, Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, who was also the Player of the Series, said, “Tanzid batted really well at the start, the way Mushi batted, I think it helped Rishad’s innings. On a wicket like this, the bowlers showed a lot of character, the pacers bowled well and Mehidy also bowled well in the middle overs. Very important for us the Test championship.
