James Anderson finished off his long 21 years test career with his final game at the Lord’s Cricket Ground. He has been a legend of the game and has always stood up for England in crucial moments. Anderson has been a magician with the ball, foxing the greatest of batters with his ability to swing the ball both ways. He has always been impeccable with his line and length.

The whole Lord’s stadium stood up to pay a tribute to one of the greatest the game has ever seen. Anderson was a touch emotional while walking back to the pavilion at the end of the game. He described how it was emotional when the two teams gave a guard of honour to him and it was special for him to play for two decades.

Just a day before Anderson called Sachin Tendulkar as the greatest batter that he has ever bowled to. Today, the Master Blaster uploaded a video where he wished Anderson a happy retirement. Tendulkar congratulated Anderson on a fabulous career. He remembered the year 2002 when he saw Anderson bowl for the first time ever. He talked about how Nasser Hussain termed Anderson as the future of English cricket. Tendulkar agreed with him and said that the Englishman has not disappointed his fans and has made them happy.
