Indian fast bowler S Sreesanth recently made a return to competitive cricket and he made sure to make the comeback with a bang as he picked his first wicket in seven years.

Sreesanth, who completed his seven-year ban from all forms of cricket last year because of his involvement in the spot-fixing scandal of the 2013 edition of the Indian Premier League, finally made his return back to the field and he made sure to leave a mark with his performance.

Sreesanth was named in the Kerala squad for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy last month, successfully bagged his first wicket in seven years as he announced his return to competitive cricket in the match against Puducherry.

It happened in the fourth over, when the pacer successfully castled Fabid Ahmed to reduce the side to 26/2 in the national T20 competition. He later took to his social media and shared a video of the same as he thanked his fans and supporters for all the love and support. Sreesanth wrote:

“Thanks a lot for all the support and love ..it’s just the beginning..with all of ur wishes and prayers many many many more to go..lots of respect to u nd family .. #blessed #humbled #BCCI #india #nevergiveup,”
