Following on from the Ahmedabad crowd, the Hyderabad crowd also blasted Hardik Pandya with a chorus of loud boos when the Mumbai Indians captain appeared for warm-up ahead of the SRH vs MI match on Wednesday evening at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

Hardik Pandya has been subjected to a huge amount of social media trolling since being appointed the new Mumbai Indians captain, replacing Rohit Sharma, who led MI to five IPL titles and is still the India skipper.

The IPL is Hardik’s first appearance in a high-profile series/tournament, and fans had been eager to see what kind of reception he gets from the crowd.

So far, at two venues, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, the 30-year-old all-rounder has been met with huge boos and name-calling.
