Last night the match that happened at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, was won by Sunrisers Hyderabad by beating Kings XI Punjab by 13 runs. The match proved itself to be a very entertaining match of the ongoing league.
Sunrisers Hyderabad, the defending champions, proved it once again that they can defend any low total. The team after giving one of their worst performance in the first innings turned the table in the second innings by giving a brilliant display of their exceptional bowling talent.
In the first innings, the team failed to make a huge total at the score bard and ended up making only 132 runs in 20 overs.

Manish Pandey, who is representing Sunrisers Hyderabad in the ongoing league is famous for being the most ‘alert’ player to be on the ground while batting. And his alertness in the last night’s match saved Shakib Al Hasan from loosing his wickets.
This act of him also earned him the ‘Nayi Soch’ award from the Star Plus team. Hyderabad was already going through a blow as they had already lost three major wickets till then. Thus, this alertness of him, was one big move to make efforts to win the match.
In the sixth over of the first innings of the match when Sunrisers Hyderabad were batting, Barinder Sran dished out a short and wide delivery, Shakib hit the ball with all his energy. However, the ball found the outside-edge of his willow instead of the ball.

The bowler started to celebrate, however, Manish Pandey sensed something fishy and he instantly reached the umpire to check the legitimacy of the delivery. And soon the replays were shown, where it was clearly visible that Sran’s front foot crossed the bowling crease by a fair margin.
Manish Pandey’s alertness saved the wicket of Shakib Al Hasan for the team. Shakib Al Hasan scored 28 more runs after that.
