MS Dhoni is one of the finest cricketers to have ever played the game. His contributions to Indian cricket are second to none. Not only has he been a great batsman for the ‘Men in Blue’ but has also been a successful leader for the majority of his international career. His stats are a mere indication of the success that Dhoni has attained as the captain of the Indian team.

The most successful Indian captain with as much as three ICC trophies, Dhoni has also played a crucial role in shaping the careers of various individuals at a very young age. Dhoni’s success as captain is not only limited to international cricket but has seen him witness a delightful ride with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL.

Suresh Raina, the other strong pillar of the franchise, recently commended his skipper as the best captain that India has ever had. In a show telecasted at Star Sports Tamil, ‘The Super Kings show’, Suresh Raina praised Dhoni as someone who has done his country immensely proud during his years as an Indian player. Suresh Raina reflected upon the same kind of aura that he fancies even in the CSK dressing room.

“I think we have the best captain who has changed the Indian team like anything. Now we have that same aura in our dressing room,” Suresh Raina mentioned. The UP-born all-rounder, who himself has been a vital figure in CSK’s success in all these years at the IPL, has represented the franchise in most matches in the league history.

Ahead of the new season, Suresh Raina is also confident that the team will do well in IPL 2020. He was also excited about the opening of stands that have been closed in the previous few years at CSK’s home ground in Chepauk. “We have all the seats available. Hopefully, we’ll have more fans now so that there is it will be more energy on the field,” Suresh Raina added.
