The youngster was key in India’s victory at the under-19 World Cup: in the semi-final against Australia, he struck 94 after India lost both openers early, and then in the final against England, Shaik Rasheed hit a half-century in a tricky chase that made India’s 4-wicket win in the final possible.
The IPL 2023 is reportedly set to kick off on March 31 or April 1. The tournament will return to the home and away format for the first time since 2019.
