Every cricket fan in the world knows about Sachin Tendulkar. Now, it seems, his biggest fan might just end up making a mighty progress into the cricket team of the future. The maestro’s son, Arjun Tendulkar is one person who probably looks up to his dad more than anyone else and he seems to be following in his footsteps.
Arjun Tendulkar has a lot going for him – He is six foot tall, he has a good, athletic frame and he can bowl as well as bat pretty well. Also, being Sachin’s son allows him to learn from the best players in the world and he seems to be taking his education very seriously, which is always good to see.
Selected into Mumbai:
Arjun Tendulkar was recently selected in the Mumbai Under-19 squad and will be looking forward to having a good campaign under his belt.
Arjun has evolved a lot off late as a cricketer and has impressed even English all-rounder Ben Stokes. He has also been taught by Wasim Akram on swing bowling and he seems to be using this to his advantage. No longer a kid anymore, Arjun be looking to go ahead and win games for the same team his father started playing for.
It will remain to be seen how Arjun creates his own history in the game. He must not take pressure unto himself and must treat every match as it is and all of India will be looking forward to his debut for the nation.
His physique
Arjun Tendulkar is a very tall and strong boy. He is a fast bowling all-rounder and it is very important that he gives a lot of importance to his fitness. Sachin wanted to be a fast bowler bout his short height came in way and he dropped the idea. But, Arjun doesn’t have any such problem. He is 6 feet tall and we are very excited to see him bowl in U19 cricket for Mumbai.
