A Bangladeshi website, newsbd7.com has come up with a news that the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina has ordered Mashrafe Mortaza’s team to lose Thursday’s ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 quarter-final against India.

Though there is no authenticity of this news and according to experts, this is a politically motivated report. But, according to the website, Sheikh Hasina wants to please her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, that is why she wants Bangladesh to lose this crucial match.

Bangladesh is currently experiencing a politically unstable situation. ‘Bandhs’ and ‘Road-Blocks’ are quite common affairs over there at this moment. But the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 has united the nation in supporting their heroes at the mega cricket event. According to the experts, the political parties are desperate to take the advantage of this situation by spreading rumours about the Prime Minister.
