South Africa have announced their 15-man squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. While most of the names were expected to be there, the selectors have gambled on Quinton de Kock’s fitness. de Kock is recovering from an ankle injury and the selectors are hopeful that he will recover well before the start of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.

AB de Villiers, as expected, will lead South Africa in the World Cup 2015.

JP Duminy, who is been out of action since the second week of November due to a knee injury, has also been named in South Africa’s 15-man squad for the World Cup 2015.

“It has been a process over the last 18 months, but we are happy with the squad we have,” convener of selectors Andrew Hudson said.

South Africa’s Squad For The World Cup 2015: AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla, Kyle Abbott, Farhaan Behardien, Quinton de Kock, JP Duminy, Faf du Plessis, Imran Tahir, David Miller, Morne Morkel, Wayne Parnell, Aaron Phangiso, Vernon Philander, Rilee Rossouw, Dale Steyn
