Hardik Pandya : The Indian cricket team secured their fifth consecutive win in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 after defeating New Zealand in Dharamshala on Sunday. It was a clinical performance yet again, which saw an Indian team breaking a jinx – defeating the Kiwis after 20 years in any ICC tournament.
Notably, the Indian cricket team was without the services of the star all-rounder Hardik Pandya for that game. The coveted all-rounder sustained an ankle injury, which kept him out of the New Zealand game. Now as the Indian cricket team is all set to lock its horns with England in their next game, there are concerns regarding Hardik’s health.
Big Update On Hardik Pandya’s Injury And Return To The Team
India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya could make his comeback in India’s 2023 World Cup match against England on October 29 in Lucknow. As per a report by Cricbuzz, Hardik’s ankle injury, because of which he was ruled out of the game against New Zealand in Dharamshala, isn’t that serious and was ‘only a sprain’.
There is a good chance that Hardik Pandya could make his comeback against England. Given the role of Hardik Pandya in the Indian team, the team management won’t be risking the all-rounder to play if he is not absolutely fit. There is a gap of a week before India’s next game, which has turned out to be a positive thing for the team management, giving enough timeline for Pandya to heal and make a comeback.
Though, the flamboyant all-rounder will be straight back into the team once he is fully fit, but the big question is who should be left out?
