[World Cup 2023] Cricket’s New Mystery Girl Breaks The Internet

World Cup 2023

The World Cup 2023 kick-started last week and it has been a highly entertaining tournament so far – not so much for the bowlers – as the batters have dominated heavily. A total of 11 hundreds have already been scored in just the first 9 matches.

Another striking factor has been the beauty presence at the World Cup 2023. Courtesy of the sharp-eyed cameramen in the tournament, some of the beautiful-looking women in the stands get spotted by the cameraman who then show their smiling faces not only to the public in the stadium but to the millions watching across on the feed.

Fans have often mocked the cameramen when they focus a bit too much on the female presence in the stadiums. A few women have gone viral after being shown on the television during cricket matches and they even see an upsurge on their Instagram following.

A similar incident happened during the India vs Afghanistan encounter on Wednesday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, which was filled with a 32,000-strong crowd, mostly supporting India.

As the cameras panned through the crowd, a few beautiful women were spotted. The video of them soon went viral on social media, though their identity are not known yet. After being seen on the giant screen in the stadium, one woman responded by making a heart shape with her hand, while others offered gentle smiles.

Meanwhile, India blasted Afghanistan by 9 wickets, gunning down the target of 273 runs in only 35 overs and thus shooting up their NRR. The architect in chief for this massive win was skipper and opener Rohit Sharma, who smashed 131 runs in 84 balls, his knock included 16 fours and 5 sixes.

Rohit brought up his fifty in 30 balls and his century in 63 balls. This is now the fastest ODI World Cup century by an Indian batsman, breaking Kapil Dev’s record of 72 balls in the 1983 World Cup. His 7 centuries are now the highest number of hundreds in the ODI World Cup, going past Sachin Tendulkar’s tally of 6 centuries.

India’s next match in the World Cup 2023 is against Pakistan on Saturday in Ahmedabad.
