Team India Use Groundsmen To Announce ‘Best Fielder’ Award: The Indian cricket team continued their unbeaten run in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 as they won the game against the Netherlands by 160 runs at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. With this win, the Indian side secured a spot in the ODI World Cup semi-finals without losing a single game.

This win was India’s ninth consecutive win in the World Cup 2023, propelling them to 18 points in the points-table. India will now lock horns against New Zealand on November 15 in the semi-final match.

Besides the impressive victories of the team, the players and the fans are particularly excited about receiving the ‘Best Fielder’ Medal, which is a unique dressing-room award presented by their fielding coach, T Dilip.

The Indian fielding coach T. Dilip has been unveiling the names of the winners of the ‘Best Fielder Award’ in creative ways, which adds an extra element of excitement among the players and keeps the fans hooked. The Fielding Medal has been a trend with the Indian cricket team since their opening match against Australia.

After India’s win against the Netherlands in Bengaluru, Dilip gave the honors to the groundmen to announce the name of the winner of ‘Best Fielder’ Medal. Yes, the Chinnaswamy’s groundsmen revealed Suryakumar Yadav as the recipient by holding up signs.

The groundsmen announced the name following the names of the three contenders were displayed on the big screen — KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja.
