Top 5 Highest Paid Cricket Coaches In 2021: Cricket is a team game, however, there are more than 11 players behind the success of a team. A coach plays an important part in grooming a team or a cricketer. A coach has to analyze players and bring out the best in the players. Former Pakistani skipper Misbah-ul-Haq is the head coach of the Pakistan national side. He replaced Mickey Arthur as head coach in 2019. Earlier, Misbah was also appointed as the chief selector of the team however he later resigned from the post. Having led the team for several years, Misbah was well aware of the atmosphere of the dressing room.

Though, many questions have been raised over the team management, but the Pakistan cricket team has done really well under the coaching of Misbah having won the series against South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. Misbah receives an annual sum of around $0.24 m.

4. Sri Lanka, Mickey Arthur – INR 3.44 Crore:

Mickey Arthus is hailed as one of the most successful coaches around the world. As mentioned above, Arthur was Pakistan’s head coach until 2019, later in the same year, Arthus took over the mentor’s role in the Sri Lankan cricket team.

So far, his journey as the head coach of the Sri Lankan team has been challenging as the team has struggled to name a settled line-up. He receives an annual salary of $ 0.46 m

3. England, Chris Silverwood – INR 4.65 Crore:

Shastri was appointed as the director of the national team in the year 2014 and he served as the director for two years. He took over as the Indian head coach after the controversial step down of Anil Kumble from the post. Since then, there has been no turning back for Shastri.

The Indian cricket team has shone in all formats. He receives an annual pay of around INR 9.5 to 10 crore from the BCCI.
