It has to be noted that In the first season of the WPL, Wyatt didn’t secure a team. However, in the current edition, the UP Warriorz, led by Alyssa Healy, signed her. Wyatt, known for her top-order batting skills, is part of the Warriorz alongside Chamari Athapaththu.
Despite being in the squad, Wyatt didn’t feature in the match against the Challengers as Healy opted for Vrinda Dinesh to open. Alongside Healy, the team also includes Tahlia McGrath, Sophie Ecclestone, and Grace Harris as their other three overseas players.
The Warriorz had a rough start to their season, losing to Smriti Mandhana’s RCB by just 2 runs. Despite being tasked with chasing 158, they fell short at 155 for 7. Grace Harris, a standout batter last season, scored 38 runs before being dismissed. Despite a close finish, Deepti Sharma and Ecclestone couldn’t seal the win. They’ll face Meg Lanning’s Delhi Capitals next on February 26th.
