Former Indian cricketer and World Cup hero Yuvraj Singh is one of the most loved and popular cricketers around the world. His contribution to Indian cricket is immense. From his sixes off Stuart Broad’s over during the inaugural T20 World Cup to his match-winning knock in the 2011 World Cup, Yuvraj Singh has played a crucial role in helping team India win the World Cup trophies, under the leadership of MS Dhoni.
No wonder his presence was badly missed in just-concluded India’s campaign in the T20 World Cup 2021, all thanks to his brilliance with the bat. India’s campaign in the ongoing T20 World Cup ended on a heartbreaking note as India was knocked out of the tournament.
Ever since India’s ouster from the tournament, a lot of memes have been making rounds on social media and one of them hilariously involved Yuvraj Singh, Virat Kohli, and his wife Anushka Sharma.
Yuvraj took to his Instagram story and shared a hilarious meme, which depicted Anushka Sharma looking at Kohli predicting if the latter is thinking about other girls. But on the flip side, Virat Kohli is thinking about the prospect of things that could have been in better shape if Yuvraj Singh would’ve been in the middle-order.
Here, check out the story shared by Yuvraj Singh:
It may be recalled that Yuvraj Singh won the Man of the Tournament award in the 2011 World Cup for his sensational performance with both the bat and ball. He had scored 362 runs at an average of 90.50 and claimed 15 wickets too.
Yuvraj Singh played the best cricket of his career in the World Cup 2011, however, the cricketer was diagnosed with cancer a few days after the conclusion of the 2011 World Cup.
It was in 2019 June, when Yuvi left everyone in shock when he came out for a presser and announced his international retirement. After announcing his retirement from international cricket, the legendary batsman has played in franchise cricket around the globe.
Meanwhile, the good news is that the legendary batsman is all set to return back to the field. Yuvraj Singh recently took to his social media and announced his decision that he will be back playing cricket in February 2022. He wrote:
“God decides your destiny !!On public demand il be back on the pitch hopefully in February ! Ain’t nothing like this feeling ! Thank you for your love and wishes mean a lot to me ! Keep supporting India, it’s our team and a true fan will show his or her support in tough times”.
