Yuzvendra Chahal is one of the rising young stars of Indian cricket. In the last couple of years, he has worked extremely hard on his game and emerged as the best leg-spinning option for India, replacing Amit Mishra.
He is slowly becoming the preferred option for Virat Kohli in the shortest format of the game. Finger spinners are always a great asset for captains in T20 cricket as are the most attacking option in the middle overs. And, Yuzvendra Chahal has been doing exactly that for India in limited overs cricket. In the recently concluded tour of Sri Lanka, Chahal was one of India’s best bowlers in the ODIs and well as the one-off T20I.

Yuzvendra Chahal shot to fame with his good, consistent performances for Royal Challengers in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He showed great character and bowled with a big heart against some of the best bowlers in the world. Soon, he was identified by the selectors and picked for Team India.
Yuzvendra Chahal’s father has played a big role in his career. He spotted talent in Yuzvendra in 2004 and decided to make a special cricket pitch in his 1.5 acre field for him to practice and develop his skills as a spin bowler. And that is how Chahal started his cricket journey.
Yuzvendra Chahal’s father once said in an interview that he saw it early that his son wasn’t inclined much towards studies, and this is why he diverted his attention more towards playing cricket.
Chahal became a household name in India when he picked 6 wickets in an innings in a T20 match against England. His performance in that match is now regarded as one of the best performances by an Indian bowler in T2OI cricket.
However, even after achieving what he has in his short career so far, Yuzvendra Chahal still resides in his childhood house in Haryana’s Jind district. Dainik Bhaskar posted some pictures of Yuzvendra Chahal’s house and all we can say is that it’s a very adorable but simple house.
