Puma Cricket Gave A Heart Winning Reply After Zimbabwe Cricketer’s Ripped Shoes Picture Went Viral: Zimbabwe’s left-handed batsman Ryan Burl, left everyone surprised when he took to his social media and requested a sponsor for his national cricket team. Ryan, who is a batting all-rounder, also shared a heartbreaking picture of his ripped shoes.
For the unversed, Ryan has represented Zimbabwe across all formats. He has scored over 500 runs across formats and has also picked up 26 wickets with his leg-spin bowling.
Ryan took to his Twitter and shared a picture of ripped cricket shoes and pleaded for a sponsor so that he and his teammates don’t have to glue their cricket shoes after every series. He wrote:
“Any chance we can get a sponsor so we don’t have to glue our shoes back after every series … @ICAssociation,”

The tweet went viral in no time and was flooded with reactions from twitterati. Fans on social media were filled with grief and many of them started requesting sports organizations to help Zimbabwe. While others slammed the International Cricket Council (ICC) over the miserable financial condition of the cricket board. However, one of the biggest brands has now extended a helping hand to Ryan Burl’s plea.
The tweet caught the attention of Puma Cricket, who came up with a heart-winning tweet for Ryan. In their tweet, Puma Cricket wrote that now Ryan and his team will not have to apply glue on their shoes as from now on Puma will cover them. Puma Cricket wrote:
