Shimron Hetmyer, the hard-hitting batsman from West Indies, is ending the year on a happy note. Recently, the cricketer earned a lucrative deal from Delhi Capitals.
Last month, it must have come as a big shock for the cricketer when Royal Challengers Bangalore released him last month. Going back into the auction pool gives birth to the probability of going unsold. However, the release came as a blessing in disguise for the cricketer as he was bought by Delhi Capitals for INR 7.75 Crores, which is 15.5 times his base price (50 lakhs).
After the auctions, Delhi Capitals shared a video of Shimron Hetmyer, where he was seen dancing on the bed.

Well, that’s not it, there was more happiness waiting for the cricketer. Shimron Hetmyer got yet another reason to be happy and celebrate. Recently, on Christmas, Shimron proposed his longtime girlfriend Nirvani Umrao for marriage and she agreed.
After Nirvani Umrao said yes, Shimron Hetmyer took to his Instagram handle and wrote:
