10 Best Tweets After CSK Entered The Finals In MS Dhoni Style

MS Dhoni, the best finisher isn’t finished yet! He has done it a million times in his career and has saved the day for his team in crunch situations. Despite not having the best IPL season, Dhoni turned out to be a savior for his team as he backed himself in the crunch situation in the first qualifier against Delhi Capitals. MS Dhoni once again delivered when it mattered the most for his team.

It was a classic vintage knock from MS Dhoni as he finished the game in his trademark style and took his team straight to the final. CSK needed 24 runs off 13 balls when MS Dhoni walked out to bat. However, Dhoni, who is known for his cool as cucumber nature, soaked in all the pressure and led the team from the front as he scored an unbeaten knock of 18 runs off 6 balls, smashing 3 fours and a six.

But it wasn’t just Dhoni’s efforts that helped CSK chase down the total. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Robin Uthappa played some crucial and amazing knocks early on for their skipper to ‘finish’ off the game. Though CSK started their innings with the worst possible note by losing their in-form opener Faf du Plessis in the first over itself off Anrich Nortje’s delivery.

However, this was the only good thing that happened to DC for the next 13-odd overs. Robin Uthappa, who was playing his third game of the season, broke havoc inside the DC’s camp as he played some stunning shots to complete his half-century and help his team chase down the competitive target.

Gaikwad also played a stunning knock, though he struggled at the start but he kept rotating the strike with his partner batting well. He scored 70 runs off 50 balls, smashing 5 fours and 2 sixes. DC was desperately looking for a wicket and finally they broke the 110-run excellent partnership off Tom Curran’s delivery. Soon, after this, CSK received another blow as Tom Curran also snaffled Shardul Thakur in the same over and Ambati Rayudu got run-out in the very next over.

Fans were expecting Ravindra Jadeja, however, MS Dhoni decided to take matters in his own hands with 24 needed off 13 balls. Dhoni, the master of the ‘finishing’ art did it again and took his team home.

Meanwhile, fans on social media went berserk and came up with amazing reactions to CSK’s win. Here, check out some of the best reactions to it:
