Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja gave an amazing performance against Australia on Day2 of the ongoing Third Test match and proved why he is regarded as one of the best in the world. Jadeja turned out to be the star of the show as team India bowled Australia out for 338 to stage a strong comeback.

On the first day, Jadeja bowled only 3 overs on the first day and orchestrated team India’s return by picking 4 wickets for 62 runs, which turns out to be his third-best figures in Test cricket overseas.

After resuming the day on 166 runs for 2, Ravindra Jadeja gave the breakthrough to the Indian cricket team by getting rid of Marnus Labuschagne for 91 runs. Following Marnus’ dismissal, Matthew Wade also didn’t last long either as he too fell to Ravindra Jadeja for 13 runs.

Following the quick fall of wickets, Steve Smith stood there as a rock for Australia as he slammed his 27th Test ton.  Jadeja showed his worth as a three-dimensional cricketer and also put an end to the powerful knock of Steve Smith.

It took a direct hit from square leg to end Smith’s 131-run knock. This also turned out to be the last wicket of Australia.
