The duo of Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag are known for tormenting bowlers during their prime time. Fans turned nostalgic as they walked out to open the match for Team India Legends in Wankhede as it was the first time since the 2011 World Cup that fans got to see the opening duo crossing the borderline.

Tendulkar smashed Pedro Collins for 2 fours and later got a hattrick of boundaries off Suleiman Benn. The iconic duo took team Indian to 59 runs for no loss in the first 6 overs and were involved in a partnership of 83 runs before Sachin Tendulkar was dismissed for 36 runs to give West Indies legends their first breakthrough.
Virender Sehwag was awarded the ‘Man of the Match’ for his quickfire performance where he scored 74 off 57 balls.
