The ongoing season of Pakistan Premier League has been making a lot of news these days for all the wrong and hilarious reasons. Every day the cricket fans are getting something or the other to get entertained with or laugh at. The one who is grabbing a lot of headlines is out-of-favour Pakistan wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal, who has become the butt of all jokes on social media thanks to his poor performances on-field in the ongoing Pakistan Premier League.
He has become one of the most talked-about players from the ongoing tournament as he has been making headlines for dropping simplest of catches one after another.
Kamran Akmal has once again found himself at the receiving end of trolling after he gave a poor performance on the field. During the Peshawar Zalmi vs Quetta Gladiators match, the 38-year-old wicketkeeper dropped yet another simple catch.
This happened Sohail Khan smashed a delivery from Hasan Ali straight into the air, giving Kamran Akmal enough time to catch the ball. However, to everyone’s surprise, Kamran Akmal came forward only to give Sohail Khan a reprieve by dropping a sitter.
But thankfully the drop catch didn’t turn out expensive for his team as his side won the match by 30 runs. However, his dropped catch has left everyone in shock, from fans to even the commentators were left in shock. “Dropped! What is he doing?”, said one of the commentators.
The video of the same blunder has been making rounds on Twitter, leaving everyone in splits. Have a look:
