It was a ‘Virat Kohli show’ last night at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad as he carried India with his career’s best to chase down their highest-ever T20I chase in the first T20 International series against West Indies last night.

The Indian skipper, once again, spell bounded everyone with his magical batting skills as he went on to score 94* to chase down mammoth 208 with an over to spare. He continued with his job of rewriting new records as he surpassed the ‘Hit-man’ Sharma to become the top cricketer for scoring the most fifties in T20Is.

Alongside his partner KL Rahul, Virat Kohli kept everyone on the edge of their seats as he delivered an amazing show with his impeccable batting skills. He came out to bat after the fall of Rohit Sharma’s wicket early in the innings. Though he started off slow but a couple of boundaries brought back his rhythm and he started hitting his trademark lofted drives and the long jaw-dropping shots and took the game with a storm.

As soon as India won the match, social media was flooded with tweets and messages for the men in blue, congratulating them for their victory in the first match. Netizens couldn’t stop pouring in praises for his performance. From fans to cricketing legends around the world, everyone came together to praise the performance of the run-machine – Virat Kohli.
