However, since then, he has been out of action as his ankle injury aggravated. He got treatment in India over the past two months. However, he is now learned to be soon flying out for London to consult specialists for his ankle treatment.
Another Gujarat Titans cricketer who is dealing with a major back injury is leg-spinner Rashid Khan. Rashid has not played any cricket since the World Cup as he is recovering from back surgery. He pulled out from the BBL, SA20, and PSL.

The newly-appointed Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya is expected to make his return straightaway in the IPL 2024. Pandya suffered an ankle injury mid-tournament in the World Cup, and has been out of action since then. He has been posting his training and gym videos on his social media, but nothing much in terms of bowling or batting.
Another crucial player on whose injury Mumbai Indians are sweating over is Suryakumar Yadav. Suryakumar had surgery on his groin in Germany on January 17 for a sports hernia.
