[Video] Rishabh Pant Played ‘Kanche’ With Kids On Streetside

Superstar Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant got involved in the game of ‘kanche’ with a few kids on the streetside and had fun with them, reminiscing his days as a youngster.

Rishabh Pant is currently gearing up for a return to action through the IPL 2024 season, which will start on March 22, for the first time since his car accident in December 2022. Pant missed the entire cricket action in 2023, including the IPL 2023, when David Warner led the Delhi Capitals, and the World Cup 2023, where India made KL Rahul as the makeshift wicket-keeper batter in the middle-order.

‘Kanche’ is an Indian game played with rolling marbles. The 26-year-old Roorkee-born cricketer posted a video on his Instagram stories of him participating in this fun activity with some kids he met on the street.

Since his recovery, Rishabh Pant has talked greatly about having gratitude for being alive and returning alive from the accident. Pant suffered major injuries on his knees, for which he needed surgeries, but the main thing was that he was fortunate to come out alive from the car after the serious accident. Through broadcasters and other channels, Pant has expressed immense gratitude to god.

Former India wicket-keeper Parthiv Patel, too, observed this spiritual talk from Rishabh Pant.

He said on Jio Cinema, “Rishabh is really positive. He talks more about gratitude and looks at life differently after the incident. He is doing his keeping drills, but that will take time. You know he is a blockbuster player; he does something or the other on the field, wins matches for his team. You just want to see him all the time, whether it’s him smiling or keeping and chirping from behind the stumps, he is a really good package.”

“He has recovered really well from the accident. All of us are waiting to see him hit those sixes, however it’s not easy, however experienced you are. Staying away from the game for such a long time, it’s not easy to come back to form straight away. His comeback depends on his mental preparation and toughness.”
