[Watch] Sarfaraz Khan Gives A Flying Kiss To Wife After Reaching Fifty In Dharamsala Test

Sarfaraz Khan is having a debut series to remember as the 26-year-old recorded his third fifty in as many Tests. After reaching his half-century in Dharamsala, Sarfaraz Khan gave a flying kiss to his wife who was sitting in the stands.

The 26-year-old has hit two sizzling half-centuries on his debut in Rajkot. After two low scores in Ranchi, the right-hander hit another fifty in Dharamsala as India made England toil hard in the field.

In reply to England’s 218, India had been given a superb platform by the top three: Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 57 runs, Rohit Sharma scored 103 runs and Shubman Gill scored 110 runs. However, India were in a precarious position when Sharma and Gill got out in a space of only four runs.

It was a tense situation for Team India, but Sarfaraz Khan and debutant Devdutt Padikkal bailed the team out of trouble and in some style. Instead of going into a shell, as England would have wanted the two batters to, the duo attack, in particular Sarfaraz. Khan and Padikkal put on a stand of 97 (132) that extended India’s lead to over 150.

Sarfaraz scored 56 runs in 60 balls with the help of 8 fours and a six. One of those fours was a brilliantly timed and placed ramp shot off Mark Wood. Padikkal scored 65 runs with 10 fours and a six, bringing up his fifty with a six.

After reaching his half-century landmark, Sarfaraz raised the bat for the crowd and the Indian dressing room, before giving a flying kiss to his wife. The video of this cute gesture from Sarfaraz for his partner has gone viral on social media.
