Fans React After A Twitter User Predicted Virat Kohli Score For 2nd ODI Accurately

Virat Kohli Failed Again: The wait for Virat Kohli’s 71st international century has extended to 78 international innings now as he departed for 16 runs having faced 25 balls in the second ODI against England on Thursday at Lord’s. Kohli was dismissed by his Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate, David Willey.

However, not as much as his century drought, it is his poor and struggling form recently that is of major concern. After a torrid time in the IPL 2022, which was his worst IPL season since 2010, Kohli has had a forgettable time on the England tour.

He scored only 1 run in the second T20I and showed intent in the third T20I, but departed for 11 runs off 6 balls. He had managed scores of only 11 and 20 in the Edgbaston Test earlier this month.

Virat Kohli hasn’t hit a century in 78 international innings

And now, 16 (25) in the second ODI, after missing the first ODI due to a groin injury, Kohli has only one innings left to take something positive from this tour; he’s also asked for rest from the ODI and T20I series against West Indies later this month.

Amid this, while there was uproar on Twitter about Kohli’s continous failure, there was also a huge commotion, a feeling of great shock, on the bird-app as one user, Sunil who has Twitter handle @Hitting_Middle, predicted Kohli’s score to the tee today that has left fans in awe.

At 10 PM IST, which is no sooner after India had started their chase, Sunil made an incredibly bang-on prediction: “Kolly 16 (25) incoming,” he tweeted.

Fans were left amazed by his super-prediction from this user. Here are some of the reactions to it:

Barring a couple of times where he was beaten with the seam movement, Kohli had looked in good touch though in his stay today. He drove one sharply early on but was saved brilliantly at cover. He then stroked three boundaries – two down the ground and one through cover – in space of 5 balls to Reece Topley, but was troubled by Willey and eventually edged the seamer to a ball that seamed away outside his off-stump.
