Rishabh Pant led Delhi Capitals (DC) endured a bitter-sweet campaign in the just-concluded 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. After the successful completion of IPL 2022, Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant will hope to make an impactful return to international cricket.

Rishabh Pant has been appointed as the deputy of stand-in skipper KL Rahul for team India’s first white-ball assignment after the action-packed season in IPL. While the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Suryakumar Yadav have been rested for the upcoming T20I series between South Africa and Team India.

Talking about their professional fronts, both Pant and Suryakumar Yadav were last seen in the just concluded 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League, playing for their respective teams — Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians. While Pant guided his team to the fifth position in the league phase, on the other hand, SKY was ruled out of the IPL 2022 before the final game of Mumbai Indians.

Rishabh Pant will be soon seen playing for team India in the upcoming 5-match T20I series against South Africa. But SKY has been rested for the series because of an injury that he suffered before MI’s last game.
