Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer is one of the most entertaining cricket personalities on social media. The former opener never fails to leave his fans in splits with his hilarious sense of humor. Apart from the hilarious memes and jokes that he keeps sharing on his official Twitter handle, Wasim is known for indulging in hilarious banters with former England skipper Michael Vaughan.

On Tuesday, the cricketer-turned-coach left everyone in splits with his latest tweet on Twitter as he took a hilarious dig at Michael Vaughan. The tweet came after India’s stunning performance over the England cricket team in the first warm-up match ahead of the T20 World Cup 2021 on Monday.

Wasim Jaffer took to his Twitter and came up with a hilarious Tweet, where he trolled Vaughan. In his Tweet, Jaffer mentioned how Michael Vaughan’s absence on social media during the warm-up match was one of the highlights of the match. He wrote:

“3 things stood out in this win:
1: KL and Ishan with the bat.
2: Boom, Ash & Shami with the ball.
3: @MichaelVaughan staying offline”

Besides taking a dig at Vaughan, the former Indian opener also praised the stunning performance of KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan at the top, which proved to be a significant takeaway for team India. He also noted how Jasprit Bumrah, Ravi Ashwin, and Mohammed Shami gave inspiring bowling performances.

For the unversed, during the first warm-up match, KL Rahul continued from where he left as he slammed a hilarious half-century to set the momentum right from the beginning. Ishan Kishan also made the most of his opportunity and added 70 crucial runs at the top.

The Indian cricket team managed to chase down the target successfully with seven wickets in their hands. The Men in Blue will next be seen in action on Wednesday when they will lock horns with Australia in their second warm-up match.

Meanwhile, Michael Vaughan later noticed the tweet and came up with a reply to it. In his reply, Vaughan said that the warm-up matches are irrelevant. He wrote:

“Too busy drinking Rum on the beach Wasim … Btw … Warm up games are Irrelevant … #OnOn”
