Marnus Labuschagne Teased Shubman Gill With Sachin Tendulkar’s Name While Fielding: India vs Australia match is always the most anticipated one. The two top sides in the world have been arch-rivals for ages, especially when it comes to Test cricket. From controversy, drama to sledging, there is no dearth of banter when these two teams locked their horns together.

As both, the teams are locking their horns on Day 2 of the third Test match, a hilarious banter took place between Marnus Labuschagne and Indian star opener Shubman Gill. Well, in the ongoing third test match at the Sydney Cricket Ground, a friendly banter took place between Shubman Gill and Marnus Labuschagne, which stole all the attention.

It happened when Shubman Gill was batting on 4 and Marnus Labuschagne was fielding at short leg. Marnus asked the Indian opener as to who is his favorite player. He asked: ” Favourite player? Who’s your favourite player?”

Responding to this, Shubman Gill said that he will let him know about his favorite player after the match. He said: “I’ll tell you after the match.“

However, Marnus wasn’t done yet, he asked::  “After the match? Sachin? Or maybe Virat ?

The video of the same was shared by the official Twitter handle of Cricket Australia. Sharing the video, Cricket Australia wrote:

“Marnus just wants to know who Gill’s favourite player is!”

Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team will have to bat well in the first innings to put pressure on the Australian cricket team. India is chasing the target of 338 runs and at the time of writing this report, India was trailing by 242 runs. India has already lost both their openers Rohit Sharma (26) and Shubman Gill (50).
